Ingredients:
1 large, ripe avocado
1 Tablespoon lemon or lime juice (I used lemon)
1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
1/4-1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (to taste)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Carefully slice the avocado lengthwise and remove the seed. Scoop the avocado out with a spoon and place in a bowl of a food processor. Add all the remaining ingredients except the salt and pepper and pulse until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. I added just 1/2 teaspoon of water to thin the dressing out just a tad bit. Serve over your favorite salad and enjoy!

A wonder sauce, I dare say! The salad looks refreshing and delicious, Jenn.
sometimes I simply don't know what to do with my avocado's as they can be a little dull just cut into a salad... this is a great way to use them, thank you x
Bookmarked! I love everything about this dressing.
This is a must make. Interesting that there's Worcestershire Sauce with avocado. Sounds really good.
I'm pinning again, Jenn! This looks just like Green Goddess, which is my favorite dressing.
I just made an avocado crema and now want to put it on everything. This looks awesome!

Oh I love this...sounds great and I am a huge fan of avocados. I can easily eat one a day!!!!
When I read the title, it was the grilled avocado that jumped out but I assumed it was normal fare for you - it is now a must try. Bev and I have the same chicken situation, but it's more of just a preference for us.
Thanks for this recipe Jenn! Chris and I went to Mesa Grill in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and they had an avacado cream under the tuna nachos. I told Chris I wanted to figure out how to make it because I always have a left over avacado. I have to say - Mesa's was bland compared to yours - way to go! ;-)
This would be a great sauce for grilled veggies.
