A simple and delicious side dish that should have been made a LONG time ago.... I have grilled Romaine lettuce before, but not since Chris and I met. I guess I thought he might not enjoy it - I don't know why I thought that - no matter - I made it, he loved it, I'll definitely be making it again!

I am excited to be reminded about grilling romaine. I love doing it and haven't for ages. And anything Wonderboy likes I like.
Who would think of grilling Romaine? That's amazing! You never cease to amaze me, Jenn! :-) But I'll have to admit that grilled anything is better than not grilling!
We had several rounds of grilled romaine this summer then quit, but I really like it and your dressing sounds very good.
Sounds wonderful - haven't ever grilled romaine - but this looks delicious and love the dressing :)

What a neat idea, thanks for sharing.
I've never grilled lettuce, but you've made me a believer!
Grilling Romaine, sounds great. Definitely love the creaminess of the dressing. Thanks for sharing, Jenn!
I saw a recipe with grilled romaine over the summer and thought about trying it then. Thanks for the reminder! It sounds cool.
Love grilled romaine. Do mine a little different. I cut the romaine in half lengthwise. Brush with evoo and salt and pepper. Grill it till it gets some grill marks. Put on plate and add dried cranberries, walnuts or slivered almonds, red onion and feta cheese. I use a balsamic vinaigrette. This is so good.
I haven't grilled romaine in over a year! It sounds really good right about now, too. The dressing looks great, too. Chives in a creamy dressing, I'm sold :)
Grilled romaine (or Cos in the UK) lettuce is surprisingly delicious. The creamy chives dressing looks and sounds heavenly.
Paula - thanks for that tip.. the salad sounds wonderful!!
I want that dressing! And look at you still grilling in November :) Do you use an indoor grill or are you cooking outdoors? If so I hope the weather is still nice there!
I like grilled romaine salads, they rock.
